have you ever done push-ups on a speeding train? hung from the luggage racks, got off at the wrong stop? gone all the way to the ends of the line just to see what's out there? (it's corn, in all directions.) have you ever kissed a boy, kissed a girl the next second just to compare their lips just to see which you prefer just to see what's real? what's real is this: i kissed you in the cornfield beside the broken bridge where the traffic stopped where the volunteer sunflowers come up for the season and what's real is this: you kissed me back
